Obtain partner terms, permitted fields and media rights, broker authorisation rules, costs, approved environments and the production approval process. An ordinary broker account does not by itself authorise a portal integration.
After receiving documentation, map property and listing identifiers, permit and broker references, availability, timestamps and expiry. Store credentials only on the server, separated between test and production.
Test authorised creation, price changes, expired permits, sold or withdrawn homes, repeated events, missed updates and recovery. Match by source identifiers; never merge solely by title or address.
Agree update frequency with the partner. Display source and last successful check, flag stale records, and stop publication when authorisation is withdrawn. Start with a small authorised inventory before extending coverage.
